The freedom and equality at Summerhill means that risky games never get out of hand and are enjoyed by all members of the community.
It’s a very exciting game that involves half the players trying to get a pillow hidden somewhere in the main building and the other half trying to guard it. It is played mostly in the dark. Players wrestle each other until someone submits. The game is won when the pillow has been found or the other team gives up.
This game has been played at Summerhill for many years. There is always a lovely mix of ages playing the game including staff and everyone is very sensitive and caring of each other.
